Overview

Order Management gives every order a digital lifecycle inside Loccuro: creation, item assignment, transit tracking and delivery confirmation — with every step logged by operator and timestamp.

The Problem

In facilities that handle customer or internal orders manually, orders are tracked on whiteboards, in spreadsheets or in people's heads. Status is unclear, items get assigned to the wrong orders, and delivery confirmation is verbal. Disputes are unresolvable.

Workflow

Step-by-step: how this use case works in the Loccuro operator app.

    Create the order
    Enter a customer or internal reference, select the target delivery location, and optionally add notes.
  2. 2
    Assign items
    Scan RFID tags to add items to the order. Each scan adds a verified item to the pick list.
  3. 3
    Mark as ready
    When fully picked, move the order to "ready for pickup". The status is visible to all operators in real time.
  4. 4
    In transit
    The collecting operator marks the order as in transit when goods are loaded for delivery.
  5. 5
    Deliver and close
    Scan at the destination to confirm delivery. The order closes automatically with a complete item-level delivery record.
