Print & Commission

Generate and print GS1-compliant RFID labels directly from the operator app.

Overview

Sourcing pre-encoded labels from an external supplier means lead times, minimum order quantities and being locked into someone else's encoding scheme. Print & Commission generates GS1-standard RFID labels — SGTIN, GRAI, GIAI, SSCC and more — and prints them directly to a Zebra device from within the Loccuro operator app. Encode, print and apply in one workflow.

The Problem

Getting compliant RFID labels typically requires either buying pre-encoded stock from a supplier or configuring a separate label printing system. Both create bottlenecks, especially when commissioning new product lines or handling urgent orders.

Workflow

Step-by-step: how this use case works in the Loccuro operator app.

  1. 1
    Select your printer
Loccuro detects Zebra label printers available on the network via Browser Print.
  2. 2
    Choose GS1 encoding scheme
Select the standard that fits your product: SGTIN (serialised items), GRAI (returnable assets), GIAI (individual assets), SSCC (shipping containers) or SGLN (locations).
  3. 3
    Enter company data
Input your GS1 company prefix, item reference and serial number. The system validates the format as you type.
  4. 4
    Preview the EPC
Review the encoded tag identifier before committing to print.
  5. 5
    Select label format and print
Choose 203 or 300 DPI, compact or standard template, and send to the printer. The label is encoded and ready to apply.
